Week Seven NFL was a good one. The Eagles won in overtime against Cleveland, really they shouldn't have. 3rd down, 1 yard to go in overtime and the Birds throw deep? Fortunately Cleveland does not score when the Eagles have to punt after an incompletion. The Eagles get the ball back, actually drive into Cleveland territory, faced with a 3rd and one again, and throw deep again?!? The playcalling didn't make any sense to me, still doesn't, but I guess that is why I do what I do, which is not coach professional football.

Ashlee Simpson was lip-synching on Saturday Night Live, and she totally got busted when the tape played for her first song... when it was time for her second song. She did a goofy dance and walked off stage, very surreal.

Uggh, the Red Sox are up two games in the World Series. I should root for the Red Sox, but I didn't root for them against the Yankees so I can't root for them now. If the Red Sox win then I guess Cubs fans take the #1 most hard-up fan base spot, although I lived in Chicago for four years and I didn't meet many Cubs fans, they really exist, right? Any game I went to was full of young moneymakers on cell phones, there for the party. Yes, I saw the occaisonal fat guy or old man (true fans), but Wrigleyville seemed more like Yuppieville to me. I'm a Philadelphia sports fan, and I think that we are the most hard-up fan base. I have never seen a major sports championship in this city, although I have seen multiple Major Indoor Lacrosse League titles, an American Hockey League championship, and the best fighter pound for pound in the world all in or from Philly.

The smell of salmon stays on your hands long after you cut it, even after you wash your hands with soap and lemon. That smell is not nearly as pleasant as eating a nice cut of salmon. I'll take my salmon grilled, cut in quarters and served on soft taco shells with a creamy yet spicy sauce on them.
