Vacation, building a deck, football: I look forward to many different events. I can't say that I am looking forward to Terrell Owens return to the Eagles after a one week dismissal as much as the media is. Of course I am sick of the whole situation, what sports fan in Philadelphia wouldn't be? Today, I realized that after last week, Philly sports fans are not alone in this. Dan Patrick said it was time for a TO from TO on his radio show yesterday. Ray Lewis told Comcast SportsNet Baltimore/Atlantic/Whatever that he's sick of hearing about the "marriage" between TO and the Birds. The situation is boring, the reaction to this situation is not, its actually more noteworthy than whatever comes of the talented wide reciever and my favorite football team.
Today's Madden 06 observations: I think running is easier this year than in the previous two years. I like Jacksonville's one-two punch of Fred Taylor and LaBrandon Toefield. Jack del Rio is going to have to make guys jump through hoops in the secondary to keep that team in playoff contention.
Did I ramble on about Peter Forsberg already? Well, if I forgot then I'll briefly mention here that whatever the line is going to be with Forsberg on it is going to be a monster. Peter seems very happy to be playing in Philadelphia, and why not? I know that hockey has been thrown under the doorstep for the last year and change, with good if not great reason, but it will soon be time for this city to generate a good amount of excitement for one of the better teams in recent memory. The Flyers will contend like only the Eagles and Phantoms do in this city. They will be gritty, fast, exciting. The changes to the game are going to be big as well. No more ties means no more leaving games or watching games and thinking at the end, "There wasn't even a winner, why did I waste my time?" Just promise me Forsberg and Gagne on a line and I'm there, 3 games this year: I want the opener, Nov. 22 vs Tampa Bay, and another of your choosing.

The Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake ice cream is executed at the finest level of taste and consistency. Godiva's Choclate rates as my favorite chocolate, add in the swirls of rich chocolate cheesecake and it's too much entirely. I apologize to Friendly's, whose ice cream flavors are tremendous, just never cost-effective.
